THE ROWAN UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF INNOVATION & ENTRPRENEURSHIP

Rowan University launched the School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (SIE) within the Rohrer College of Business in 2022. The school is designed to further opportunities for professional start-ups and a cross-campus entrepreneurial mindset. It is the first of its kind in New Jersey and one of just a few university-based schools of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.

The SIE helps students pursue creative career paths to forge their own future, no matter their course of study, and houses both the Rowan Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (RCIE) and Rowan’s highly successful and award-winning entrepreneurship programs including the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, the entrepreneurship minor, MBA concentrations in entrepreneurship and cannabis commercialization and related certificates and programs.

AACSB accredited, our students are encouraged to understand entrepreneurship from global, national, local and individual firm level perspectives and to learn the dynamics through which innovative individuals and teams recognize opportunity and decide to take action to create, finance, grow, staff, lead, motivate and sustain their new ventures to create wealth and to enrich the world.
